An unfortunate mechanical problem lead to my first time flagging a taxi on a busy road without Tony...and later haggling with a bunch of taxi drivers at the mall. The drivers figured they could overcharge me and they were fighting with each other trying to see which driver could be first to say a price that I would accept.
The taxi was missing the inside of the doors and the driver had to do some tricks to shut them but at least I got the price was I was looking for and we were able to get to Protea Hotel for lunch with friends. We were happy that the rain hadn't started again so the kids could have a swim.
Ruby wouldn't let go of Charity.
The kids are always smiling when they get to a pool.
It's all fun and games with Uncle Franco....(Tony's buddy since preschool) We visited Ghana's own Kid Zone....just like at McDonald's they have the kids remove their shoes and put them in a cubbie....the funny part is that it is like a park with sidewalks and grass and a whole bunch of barefoot kids???
