Road Trip to Asutsuare via Ada...

We went to Asutsuare on Monday morning and stayed until Wednesday. We decided to do a side trip to Ada on the way...so we spent a lot of time on the road...therefore...more road photos...I can't get enough of the road photos!

We arrived in the village early Monday evening and visited a little then went to bed early. At one am Tony woke me to look out the window...we were surprised to see a guy climbing on the security bars of our bathroom window....we were on the second floor and when Tony pointed a flashlight at him he dropped a long way to the ground...Tony shouted "Who's there?" in the local language but the guy just ran and jumped the wall.

Tony's Mom said nothing like this has happened before so it was likely someone that saw the "foreigners" coming into the village and thought we might have something worth stealing...luckily he didn't get anything and was hopefully scared enough not to attempt it again.

We had a lot of soccer balls to blow up (50) for the school donation...the kids and I got started and we were thrilled when Uncle Jeff offered to help and then a chief and his buddy who had stopped by to see Grandma finished the pile while we were out visiting.
