We pumped up all the soccer balls and sorted out the school supplies and hired a Tro-tro to carry the goods to the Asutsuare RCC Jr and Primary School. We used the majority of the money to donate to this school which consists of 300 Junior Secondary Students and 700 Primary Students. With our thrifty shopping we hope we have left them well equipped for their studies.
We had lots of help to get the stuff packed into the tro tro...
Once we arrived at the school we had even more help unloading the stuff...it was drizzling a bit but luckily it didn't rain on our presentation...
The JSS students were writing exams but they took a break and came out to see us.
The students helped haul things over to the primary school (it is on the other side of the playing field).
The boys were happy to help carry the soccer balls!
The Head of the JSS and Tony each addressed the students. The gentleman in the center is the future head master and the gentleman on the right is the current head master. The nursery students were singing and greeting us...they are well practiced...."Welcome, How are you?"..."By the Grace of God I am fine thank you, and you?"....they shout it at the top of their lungs and all take breaths at the same break...too cute....
