Jules the Sock Monkey in Africa!

Jules is a travelling sock monkey who has his home in Shawnigan Lake BC. He went to Greece last year and we are lucky enough to have him travelling in Ghana with us. Here are some pics for those who enjoy a little fun.

Silly Jules, you should be inside the mosquito net!

Jules is relaxing in the wheel barrow awaiting his coconut milk.

Jules was very patient during our 7 hour lay over in Amsterdam.

Jules tried to climb the banana tree in Grandma's yard.

The coconut tree was easier to climb.

Jules did some sweeping with the traditional broom. (every house and yard is swept with this short broom first thing (5:30am) every morning...it is back breaking work because it has no handle so you have to bend over to do it...good thing Jules is short.

Jules was chilling out in the garden and didn't realize a lizard was sneaking up from behind!
